Women Are Speaking. The Question Is, Are Organisations Listening?

Why Being in the Room Does Not Always Mean Being Heard
Across boardrooms, leadership teams and decision-making forums, many women continue to face challenges in having their voices recognised and valued. But for Black and women of colour, the experience is often far more complex.
While gender bias remains a barrier, many navigate the additional weight of racial stereotypes, cultural assumptions and ongoing microaggressions that can undermine credibility, visibility and influence.
Research from Mckinsey continues to show that women of colour face greater obstacles to progression, sponsorship and leadership recognition than their white counterparts.
